The Junior League is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

    Meg Bourne is the Founder and CEO of Art Feeds. Art Feeds is a non-profit organization which provides expressive and creative arts programming to children worldwide! Through their Community Assist Program, Art Feeds currently serves 7,000 kids and over 20 organizations annually. Over their 10 year history, Art Feeds has impacted more than 60,000 children across the globe. 

    Meg and her team have a huge heart for children. Her "special sauce" is treating kids as equals and creating a safe space for them to be themselves.     Casey is the Program Director and Emily is the Development Director. The Children's Safety Center empowers children to overcome abuse and begin to trust, hope and heal. The Center provides many important services including; victim advocacy, forensic interviews, specialized medical evaluations/sexual assault exams, therapy and prevention training.

    These wonderful ladies are incredibly passionate about helping victimized children.     Stacy Seger w/ NWA Women's Shelter

    Stacy Seger is the Director of Development at the NWA Women's Shelter. Their mission is to empower families to live free of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Shelter assists women and men (including their children) to have a safe place and reclaim their independence. Over 500 people are served by the NWA Women's Shelter annually. The services don't stop at providing a safe place. Financial assistance and therapeutic services help individuals establish stability. 

    The NWA Women's Shelter also runs a Thrift Store open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm in the Southgate Shopping Center in Rogers. Anyone can donate items and/or shop and proceeds help support the Shelter's mission. They are always in need of hygiene products, clothes of all sizes and household goods. People who require the Shelter's services can obtain items from the Thrift Store to fulfill their needs to assist with their transition to safety.

    Kari Wadsworth is the Executive Director of Making My Way as a Mompreneur. Mompreneur's mission is to help women/mom's make a career change to transition back into the workforce by connecting them with mentors in their field of choice. 

    If you are a women and consider yourself an expert in your field, please reach out to Kari about becoming a mentor. There is no cost and only requires a commitment of 30 minutes per month to mentor other women who are interested in transitioning into your industry.
