Saved my relationship with my dog
I have always had dogs in my life…never had ‘issues’ until…along came Guadi! With all the issues I’d heard about but never dealt with. I tried 4 different trainers and they hit her, threw her to the ground…etc etc. They all told me the same thing - I wasn’t a good owner for this dog, I wasn’t dominant enough. I had NEVER had to treat a dog like that and it NEVER got better…it got worse! Finally found Tom Mitchell through yet another trainer but this one showed me that I don’t have to sacrifice my relationship with my dog to help her. We can grow and be better, together. And better yet - we can grow the skills together, at HOME, in safety, and then TAKE IT OUT AND ABOUT! I can now take my dog through busy streets confidently. Is she happy? No, but she can hold it together and get through it and once out, shake it off. Do I ask her to go through busy streets - no, unless I cannot avoid it. We have been working on consent care at home. Just had to use it at the vet due to an emergency and she aced it! This is the long journey, but it is the right road - because it’s not a one-size-fits-all and it takes into consideration…BOTH human and dog need to skill up. And it is FUN!

I love this guy and his energy. He really motivates me to work and have fun with my dog. She also loves his games and I love his funny stories
The Help
Tom’s teachings changed massively our life. My little reactive Princess is not that reactive anymore, she is able to cope with a stadium full with dogs, people, noise, etc. All Tom shares is consumable for “normal” people, and the training does not really take more than 5-10 minutes a day. I just love his energy and teachings. I would definitely recommend him to anyone having struggles or interested in dog behaviour.
