In several episodes of my podcast I have mentioned the Straight Edge and shared ideas and opinions with people who also hold this music-related philosophy of life dear. For some time now I've felt the need to clarify the topic and introduce it to the artistic and musical community not directly connected to the world of hardcore punk and metal. I could only have a better guest than Derek Ski, lead singer of the band XrepresentX - a band that bases its existence on SxE. We also discuss his experience in Europe and which led him to become a German teacher in Pennsylvania. His passion for music has led him to meet new friends in a country foreign to him.
