The big three came to play in the lead-up to and during Tokyo Game Show. Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox all have much to say as we highlight some of our favorite announcements.

Zelda finally has a new chapter! Dubbed Tears of the Kingdom, the Breath of the Wild successor looks to wow audiences once again. However, with seemingly the same map, will it hold up to our lofty expectations?

We have finally gotten our best look yet at God of War Ragnorak. With a lengthy story trailer, Sony Santa Monica sets the stage for one of the most anticipated games arriving this fall - spoilers, it’s gonna be big.

Xbox has games, and Japanese ones at that. From Ni No Kuni to Guilty Gear, the Xbox faithful can look forward to many eastern hits coming to game pass very soon. Team green even showed us a new character coming to Overwatch 2!

In one of this year's most unexpected moves, PlayStation has decided to increase the price of its newest console in multiple territories around the globe. Sitting the world's current economic pressures, SIE CEO Jim Ryan paints a picture that makes this move seem unavoidable. But does his argument hold up with the competition holding their position and Sony not increasing their prices in the US?

Bungie has finally revealed its newest expansion to be released next year. Dubbed Lightfall, the MMO RPG will see its players take on an old enemy while working with new friends. The update comes packing plenty of quality-of-life improvements, including load-outs - finally. We break down the entire roadmap while diving into Destiny’s current Season of Plunder.

As the gaming world continues to reckon with its new state of “buy now, think later,” we get a glimpse into what some of those thoughts are. Speaking with Brazilian regulators, PlayStation holds nothing back when talking about its views on rival Xbox’s purchase of Activision Blizzard. Perhaps needless to say, it isn’t happy. It’s very rare we get such a behind-the-scenes look at how a company feels about any given deal, and PlayStation’s sound bite was heard around the industry. Xbox wasted no time responding to their rival’s candor in kind. Buckle up because while the audiences of each platform are playing nice, for the most part, the people running the show clearly have no love for one another.

To no one’s surprise, a new GTA is well in development. But to everyone’s surprise, it will star a female lead for the first time in its modern 3D era. And, if these rumors are to be believed, it’ll be less low brow with its comedy. Can a GTA game hit just as hard without punching down? Will it be able to reach the staggering heights of GTA V?

We’ve got a Bungie event on the horizon, God of War gets one of the greatest rip-offs of all time, and we hear about Juarez’s thoughts on the Uncharted movie. All that and more on this week's show…… RIGHT NOW!!!

Dubbed Inzone, the line looks to provide both console and PC players with industry-leading technology at competitive prices. After tragedy fell Japan, one of its most famed game developers found his name and image circulated in connection to the assassination. Following some silence, Kojima Productions finally spoke about the false accusations of its founder. Should and will they take legal action?

They came and went in a flash, but 2022’s E3-less summer gaming showcases are now behind us. As the dust settles, and the gaming industry sets into its summer lull, we look back on one of the season’s biggest events: Xbox and Bethesda Showcase.

With much to prove during their first outing post potential merger, team green and team RPG factory had some tricks up their sleeves. For Xbox’s part, the promise of nearly all titles coming to Gamepass loomed largely, and their “one more thing” moment included the legendary Hideo Kojima. Bethesda, on the other hand, wasted no time by showing off its newest coop shooter Redfall, with an impressive early build promising the same fan-favorite gameplay well known from Arkane Studio.

The show ended with Tod Howard (his brown boots and jacket included). We were given an extended first taste of the gameplay and systems of their newest title Starfield. But what did we think about the minutes-long demo of “Fallout In Space?” How was the showcase overall? Is an E3-less summer worth living?

After much speculation, Sony’s revamped PlayStation Service has been revealed. Long gone is the code name Sparticus and what we have left is simply…PlayStation Plus. But don’t let the name fool you, this service is all-new, mostly. With multiple options, a soft release window, and a handful of titles announced, we dig into PlayStation’s newest offerings for current and legacy generation games in their updated subscription model.

Some time ago an action RPG set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter was leaked. Finally, after much anticipation, we have seen real gameplay; approximately twelve minutes worth. Hogwarts Legacy dazzled fans during its proper reveal by PlayStation, which featured in a solo State of Play. We give our first impressions of the long-running franchise’s biggest game to date.

You have all asked for it and Fortnite has finally granted your wish; you no longer have to build. Simply dubbed “Zero Build”, the world’s most popular battle royale is reaching new heights by staying on the ground. Will this get us playing again? Most assuredly not, but we weigh in anyway.
