In this episode the Beer Quest crew, head out to Empirical Brewery. They learn about the science of beer from brewers Pete and Nevin and the reason why cats are roaming the building. They also get the inside scoop on how Andersonville could be The Brewing Metropolis of Chicago.

This week the Beer Quest crew visits the place where the idea of beer Quest was born: Motor Row Brewing! They speak to Brewery Manager Tracie Barthel as she schools them on the craft beer from the city that works, for the city that works!

The Beer Quest crew head down to Lemont Illinois and talk to Paul Ciciora, one of the owners of the "irrepressibly optimistic" brewery. They learn a bit about Lemontsters, The Illinois Michigan Canal and of course they sample their delicious beer!

This week Ramon visits Vice District Brewing and learns about Chicago's old vice district area and how two guys came together to make their beer making dreams come true.
