Tobias, Mandy and Martijn from VMware talk about the latest trends and technologies impacting the world of cloud

    Artificial Intelligence

    Artificial Intelligence

In this show I get over-excited about AI/ML (sorry Martijn and Mandy!) We have a great discussion around A.I. in general and also A.I. in the  world of Datacenter and Cloud. Mandy shares her views on A.I. in  consumerism (Tesla, thermostats, chat-bots) whilst Martijn ponders the often tricky ethics around A.I. and it's biases. We also touch on the  history of A.I. and spend some time discussing our partnership with  NVIDIA and the joint "Project Monterey"

    DevOps!

    DevOps!

    Hi Everyone,

We're really on a roll now! I'm pleased to share with you episode three of the Cloud Technologist Show. This time we're talking all about DevOps. If you ever wanted a "concise" definition of what DevOps is, all three of us give it a go (Warning: concise means different things to each of us!).

We also talk about the history of DevOps, the value for the business, tool chains, shifting left and more.

    Enjoy!
    Tobias.

As our resident DevOps specialist, Mandy has a whole host of blogs to check out in combination with this episode, including:

    Building a Cloud Operating Model

    Building a Cloud Operating Model

As a business embarking on a multi-cloud transformation, you probably already have an application strategy (maybe based on the 5 Rs), you probably also have a cloud strategy, defining which combination of private and public clouds. Today we dive into the topic of binding those two together, building a cloud operating model to maximize the benefits of both.
