From the challenges of finding an apartment to unfair treatment by people (especially ones she least expected such treatment from), Colleen shares her struggles after moving to Taiwan and its affect on her mental health.

Our special guest for this first episode to kickstart the mini season is Iris Lin, also an ABC, who came to Taiwan with the intention of staying for 1 year, but it's been ~3 years now..and her journey from hating to loving Taiwan.

Communication is a skill we’ll be learning our whole lives. In this episode, Alice and Evelyn share about how their Asian American background has influenced the way they communicate with some tips and tricks along the way.
