#54 Kristelle Siarza Moon, Founder of Siarza Digital and the Asian Business Collaborative, talks about how DEI is a place, not just a term

In 2014, Kristelle took the leap to start Siarza Digital, a full-service marketing agency. She prides herself in having a strong team that is diverse in background, thought, and culture.

In 2020 she was convinced her business would not survive, but received assistance to help her continue on. However, during this time, she noticed that the API community was not receiving the same type of funding, resources, and support.

In six months, she started a nonprofit, The Asian Business Collaborative, that helped the API community access PPE in addition to business resources and financial assistance.

Kristelle talks about the importance of DEI, educating ourselves, representation, and feeling comfortable in spaces. She also talks about how DEI is a place, not simply a term.
