Audrey Lester lives by "Strive for excellence and purpose in all things.” Audrey Lester was educated by Detroit Public Schools, Howard University, and The Catholic University of America.
From Detroit, Michigan she now resides in Washington, DC practicing Social Work on behalf of adults living with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Audrey enjoys reading, cycling, dancing, hiking, and doing puzzles during leisure time.

Scott Brills - Adventure

Scott Brills is an entrepreneur and adventure capitalist. Born in Metro Detroit, Scott can be found working on his web development company, organizing safaris in Tanzania, driving an old car from London to Mongolia to raise money to build a kindergarten, or piloting an auto-rickshaw 3,000 miles through India while raising money to support rainforest conservation.


His life motto is "to create successful businesses; to have a meaningful, happy life; and to create lasting, positive change in the world through whatever opportunities and resources come my way."

Dr Erin Hughes - Empathy.

This is the story of empathy and kindness. Dr Hughes has been to Irbil and Mosul in Iraq and she tells the story of her visit and what she discovered talking to the citizens of Iraq during her visit.

Dr Erin Hughes has a PhD in Sociology from University of Edinburgh, UK. Her research focus is nationalism, nation-building, diaspora and migration, ethnic and sectarian conflict, Iraq and the Middle East, Assyrian and Chaldean studies, and boundary theory. She is writing a book on her Dissertation: 'An American Atra? Boundaries of Diasporic Nation-Building Amongst Assyrians and Chaldeans in the United States'
