It's the holiday season and you don't want to be bothered with your mother and/or family. What do you do?

What you hold on to with tightly closed fist, will eventually hold on tighter to you. Does the reality of your relationship with your mother align with your expectations you have for her? If, not what do you do?  Grab a paper and pencil. Let's write some shit out and release what no longer serves us.

Too many daughters settle for a half-assed relationship with their mother because having any kind of relationship to them is more important than having a healthy relationship with self.  Not anymore. Daughters it is time to prioritize yourself first.

Let's dig into the cliche sayings you've been told all of your life by your mother, family, friends, even society (you know - you only get one mother, she did her best, God said honor your mother, etc).  It is time to demother yourself from the b******t and stand in your truth and do what is best for you.

So many daughters hate their mothers for the abuse and mistreatment they have suffered but they are scared to admit it (and have been denied the space to even do so) and don't know what to do with it. Let's talk about it.
