A new week, new episode and this week we have an expert on women's football! RADHA GUPTA! The founder of She Talks Ball, a platform meant for promoting women in sports, she is an ardent football fan and supports Chelsea FC. And unlike the majority of Chelsea fans, she started supporting the club because of the Chelsea Women’s Team. On 18th April 2021, reports started pouring in from various sources that something about a new competition, the European Super League (ESL) was cooking amidst 12 ‘elite’ clubs, that started the most calamitous, exciting, shocking and revolutionary 72 hours in the world of football. It sparked a range of emotions – anger, fear, hate, disappointment – and brought out something in the realm of football which is seen very rarely – unity. The event was so catastrophic, that a particular manager’s sacking amidst the chaos seemed miniscule in comparison! However the league, as of now, stands close to being dissolved now with huge uproar from admirers of the beautiful game.
