At our very core, MAJ is a portrayal and celebration of all mountain athletes both amateur and professional, and the organizations that make the pursuit of these outdoor sports possible. We believe relationships with mountains can foster and inspire a better quality of life, so we’re advocates, stewards, and enthusiasts for recreation, exploration, and preservation of vertical wilderness.

At MAJ, we chose to record the stories, events, accomplishments, policy, data, culture, images, video, sponsors, and opinions of athletes in pursuit of that unknown through any human powered activity in mountain ranges. We do this because these are the individuals that are pushing boundaries, and are defining the new milestones for not only personal, but also human accomplishment.
