Episode 70 - Welcome to D-Town with Beverly Ligman

Today on the Do Divorce Right podcast, Becca chats with Beverly Ligman, author of "Welcome to D-Town," a guide to divorce for the young and still kind of hot. They discuss an optimistic approach and how the book poured out of her after facing divorce at 39.

Beverly shares insights on dealing with awkward comments, the shock of leaving, and the importance of tuning into your intuition. They touch on stages like grieving, self-soothing behaviours, and navigating opinions from friends.

The conversation unfolds into dating again, embracing newfound freedom, and the adventures in the world of online dating. Beverly's upbeat perspective and humour shine through as she shares the journey of turning a negative into a positive after divorce.

    Episode 67 - The 4 D's to reduce overwhelm

    Episode 67 - The 4 D's to reduce overwhelm

Welcome back to the "Do Divorce Right" podcast! In today's episode, I've got a game-changing technique to share that can help you tackle overwhelm when life gets crazy. The 4D method. It's simple but powerful:

Delegate: Get your support system involved. Let others help where they can.
Delay or Defer: Not everything is urgent. Schedule tasks for a more manageable time.
Delete: Some things aren't essential. Cross them off your list and free up mental space.
Do: Block time for must-dos. Start small to build momentum, then tackle bigger tasks.

I share this with clients, and actively use this technique myself.  It works wonders. Give it a try, and let me know how it goes!
