In this episode of Long Shadows of Seattle, host Stellan Harris covers the history of Forestine "Flo" Ware (1915-1981). Ware moved to Seattle in 1940 and became a business owner in the late 1950's. She known for being a caravan leader of the Poor People's campaign and running for the House of Representatives with a platform to support poor, Black community members of Seattle.
