How important was it for you to please your parents?
 
What does it mean to be pleasing? (agreeable, gratifying)
 
We are going to look at the connection between Pleasing God & Faith
 
- Hebrews 11:5-6.   Enoch
 
- Without faith, it is Impossible to please God.
 
- He who comes to God must believe:
 
1. That He is.  (Exist; to be Who He says He is)
 
2.  That He is a rewarder.  (One who pays wages)
 
- to those who seek Him.
 
- 2 Timothy 1:5.  Lois & Eunice
 
Paul speaks to young Timothy about his faith.
 
“For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well.”
