    Welcome to the podcast for a comparative history of ideas otherwise shortened as CHID 250. Throughout the quarter we have discussed the idea of political imprisonment through the readings of various prison notebooks. The prison notebooks we have read in our class are the works of black radical thinkers who are and have been considered political prisoners by many. We have discussed the limits of existing theories of punishment for example deterrence, rehabilitation, incapacitation, and retribution for making sense of the incarceration of these individuals.
