Spring football practice has come to an end for the West Virginia University football team.  Saturday's Gold-Blue Scrimmage was a success.  There was a big crowd, great weather, celebrity coaches, and most importantly, NO injuries.

It's an important time for the West Virginia University athletic department.  The Mountaineer basketball program continues to retool its roster and staff, while the football team prepares to close spring practice on Saturday with the Gold and Blue scrimmage. 

In addition, all WVU coaches are anxious about the closing of the Transfer Portal, which takes place on May 1.  Once the portal closes, coaches will finally have a good idea of their roster for the coming season.
