I am studying Canadian History to be a Social Studies teacher, and my goal is to connect people with the resources they need in order to succeed. ITS SAPHHIC, GALS. //disclaimer: my gf facetimed me as I was recording so it stops mid sentence but i’ll finish the reading tomorrow- sorry!!!!// In this episode I talk a bit on what it would be like teaching as a lesbian, being left out of lgbt stuff, and an update on another reading I want to start. The main bulk of this is reading the intro to the Lives of Lesbian Elders, by D. Merilee Clunis, PhD, Karen L Fredriksen-Goldsen, PhD, Pat A Freeman, PhD, and Nancy Nystrom PhD.

Hello episode 1! I am reading chapter 6 Shingwauk’s Vision by JR Miller in this, since I have already read chapters 1-5 in my head and I don’t want to go back and re read them. sorry bout it. This includes some accidental swears, commentary, and an exclusive feature called ‘i recorded this on my iphone and didn’t edit it at all’. I hope whoever listens to this finds it useful.
