In the run up to the Senedd & Holyrood elections, the Labour Party has started work on a number of projects aimed at remaking the way the UK works to provide a sustainable third way between independence and the status quo. The First Minister calls this 'home rule' and others are calling it 'Radical Federalism'.
This discussion chaired by Professor Laura McAllister follows a proposal by the Radical Federalism project for a 'People's Convention' in Wales to lay the groundwork for a renegotiation of the union. Laura is joined by Mick Antoniw MS, Beth Winter MP, Prof. Kevin Morgan and Prof. James Mitchell.

The 2019 UK General Election saw the Conservative Party win a host of constituencies in Labour's heartlands of the North of England and North East Wales. These seats had become collectively known as 'The Red Wall' during the campaign and their loss was to cause the Labour Party to reflect seriously on its connection with many of these former industrial areas.
