On April 17, 2024, Hulu launched a show, “Under the Bridge” which details this case & is based on a book that shares the same name; the show has fictionalized & invented details about the case including name changes. 2024 marks 35 years since an 11-year-old boy was abducted from a dark rural road in 1989 in St. Joseph, Minnesota, a small community with a population of less than 3,000. This case terrified the community, stripping their safety & sense of  innocence. This case went on to become one of the biggest mysteries in the state’s history & was unsolved for nearly 27 years. The Richardson family lived in Medicine Hat which is a city in Alberta, Canada that’s situated along the South Saskatchewan River with a population of 63,271 in 2021. The location is known as the sunniest place in Canada, averaging 2,544 hours of sunshine a year vs. 2,066 hours of sunshine annually in Toronto. The family consisted of husband & wife, Marc & Debra Richardson & their two children, 12-year-old daughter Jasmine & 8-year-old son Jacob.

12-year-old Jasmine was always known as a happy, social girl, but her personality took a drastic turn when she began dating her boyfriend.

This is a case of a grisly quadruple murder that happened in April of 1981 at the Keddie Resort in the tiny northern California town of Keddie, California. Many years before this horrific night, the resort was considered idyllic & included a rustic hotel, bar & restaurant nestled in the woods along the Feather River. It was founded in 1910 as a getaway where 33 cabins were available for rental & vacationers would fish for trout in the rivers or walk the beautiful trails. In its heyday, the Keddie Lodge Restaurant was packed with patrons who dined on barbecued bear ribs & sherry-basted racoon steaks.

In 2017, Tina Satchwell was a 45-year-old woman who had been married to her husband, 57-year-old Richard Satchwell, for twenty-five years before she suddenly disappeared. The couple had been living on Grattan Street in Youghal which is a seaside resort town in County Cork, Ireland since 2016. Tina was an Irish woman who moved to England in the 1980s to live with her grandmother. She was the youngest of five girls & three boys in a tight-knit family.
