She is originally from the #Netherlands, but I'm currently settled in Bangalore, India. She coaches teenagers and young women to overcome #Bingeeating and #Bulimia.  



For those of you who are not aware of this, Binge eating is a condition where sometimes you have uncontrolled eating sessions, and you could be eating in secret, or eating at night when no one is around. Bulimia is a condition that goes one step further, where you develop such a strong fear of gaining weight, that you make yourself vomit or use laxatives so that the food is out of your body.  



Binge eating and Bulimia are big growing problems in India with 10 lakh+ cases every year and absolute #ZERO awareness, and the age group that is affected the most by it is early teens to mid-twenties. And because no one understands this, these girls struggle all on their own with this, and even if they try talking, people don't see it as a problem and they just ask them to have some control.

Rekha Vyas is an international shadow artist, master Puppeteer, and an avid storyteller. She is the founder of Pepup, a company dedicated to #shadowgraphy and puppetry. As India's #firstfemale hand shadow artist Rekha is passionate about the art of puppetry and shadowgraphy



Rekha's puppetry and shadowgraphy shows / workshops are well received by many schools, events across the world. She has performed at various prestigious International and national events like International education forum Azerbaijan, Kala Ghoda Festival 2020 Mumbai, Asia's biggest Cultural and Art festival , Utsav Literature Carnival, Gurgaon and Ràah Cultural and Art Center Pune, Nickelodeon and Disney cartoon Television channel, New York Indian cultural week. She has performed at over 200 IB / CBSE schools covering over 50,000 students.



Rekha believes that these art forms help to improve a child's creativity and social skills. With the aim of spreading the art, she created a platform of ' PepUp Puppet storytelling contest' for children across the world to come together and showcase their talent and build skills.
