Episode 49 Sad Farewells and Shocking revelations Empire of Geek Podcast

    • Kunst

Welcome to Empire of Geek, on the show this week, we talk about New Star Trek, Nostrodamus, Wonderwoman working for the UN and also Great tv shows like Black Mirror, Glitch and West world.
We bring you a special round of Ultimo Geek that focuses on a very strange celebrity and we also talk about upcoming films Ghost in the Shell and Valerian and the city of a thousand planets.
Comic’s wise we discuss a powerful french comic that charts the real life experiences of a surviver of the Terrorist attack on the Bataclan in Paris.
Our comic of the week is Psycho Gran by David Leach (its available on comixology and amazon)
On this show we talk about the sad passing of comic book legend Steve Dillon (Preacher and many more amazing comics) and also the man behind Napoleon Solo, Robert Vaughn.
We also take a look at a Comic Symposium that will be held at the University of Brighton College of Arts and Humanities on the 9th and 10th December 2016 it will feature a ton of top comic names and focus on the theme of Conflict and Resolution.

One important thing we have been meaning to do for some time is give credit to the song feature in our theme tune. The sample used is from Stroke of Midnight by Adrian Loo and Ivan Chew and features on their album Crystal tears and the Dream nebula https://starfishstories.bandcamp.com/track/stroke-of-midnight-v23

When youve finished listening to this polished dollop of Geekery why not check out our very own graphic novel called Midnight Butterfly. If you like horror, steampunk or just general weirdness then you will probably get a kick out of it.
