Last week we saw Jesus strongly judge hypocrisy & disobedience. Today we see Jesus complete His harsh judgment of His enemies, in their last interaction before Jesus is arrested to be judged by them.

We live in a culture that often quotes ‘build-a-bear Jesus’, the version they like - the version that only loves and never judges - the contemporary version greatly distorting the authentic Jesus found in the Scriptures.‌ “Jesus never judges”? Today we continue to study Matthew chapter 23 and see if this claim is legit.

Don’t you hate it when leaders get to live by different standards than the average person? Jesus hated that too. Today we get to see what Jesus says on the subject as He warns us to BEWARE HYPOCRISY, not only in the lives of others, but in our own lives as well. 

If you could ask Jesus any question, what would it be? If it was intended to stump Jesus, there’s no doubt He would answer it well. But what if Jesus asked YOU a question that YOU couldn’t answer? Today we amazed by the question that clarifies the identity of Jesus.

The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith. Without it, Jesus & his disciples are liars and our eternal hope is dashed to the ground. But Jesus HAS RISEN! Today we are reminded that real Christians live for the Risen King.

Today we see in brutal detail, how the Promised Savior was beaten and crucified - the Suffering Servant fulfilling what the Hebrew prophets predicted hundreds of years before.    Today we discover why this great price was paid & whether it was worth the price.
