EVERYDAY EVERYDAY

We were designed to navigate seasons of transition and change by staying rooted in the Word and cultivating a lifestyle of prayer! Rather than relying on secondary sources for our faith, we need to be connected directly with the Father to gather pure oil that will never run dry. It's time to cast aside distractions and commit ourselves to consistent prayer, allowing Holy Spirit to guide us and reveal next steps. By honoring and valuing scripture in the secret place, we are equipped to enter into everyday ministry TOGETHER with our community!

God doesn’t measure our worth based on how much scripture we can memorize or how well we can debate others. He desires us to approach Him with childlike curiosity, driven by deep love rather than a mere need for understanding. While growing in knowledge can be fruitful, 1 Corinthians 8:1 reminds us that “knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.” May we never become dependent on intellectual understanding, but always be filled with wonder and awe of His greatness which fuels our love.

The book of Acts is full of stories from everyday people who listened to God and obeyed what He said. In chapters 20-28, Paul serves as an example of how to embrace pruning and produce more fruit as a result. Paul had decided in his heart that he belonged to the Lord and not himself. In the same way, Jesus invites us to become gripped by the Lord's promptings and have the grit to obey them. Whenever the Lord invites us into something, our response is always YES!

Jesus is more than a prophet, teacher, or religious leader; He is the LORD, intimately acquainted with us and what is best for us. We were all uniquely designed to know the God who took on human form and shed His blood to liberate us from guilt, shame, and condemnation. Jesus, fully God and fully man, was crucified to eliminate every obstacle and barrier between us and the Father. Everything changes when we respond to His outpouring of love and submit to His lordship!

Jesus' blood is stronger than sin! When we repent and allow the compassionate Vinedresser to lift us into the light, we begin to bear much fruit. He knows the best conditions for us to walk in fruitfulness, and it's our joy to submit to His leadership and allow Him to prune our lives!

We were not created for the relentless pursuit of achievement or working for love—these only bring momentary happiness and result in feeling empty inside. Step into Godly love, where striving gives way to His divine invitation to abide in Christ. By abiding in Christ and practicing loving obedience, we produce fruit that blesses others and access the fullness of joy available only through Him!
