Energy System Training Series

Excellent summary of a complex topic.
Eric's podcast complements his training 4 climbing book well and answers many questions that come up automatically. Equally important for a non-native speaker: great to understand (Dave MacLeod is much harder to follow ;-))
Eric also answers questions in his Q & A.
Great!

Very good information, a lot of rambling

The information in this podcast are very good and carefully researched, that’s why I listen to this. Unfortunately up to almost half of an episode can be occupied with rambling about less important stuff, self admiration about how long, strong etc he climbs, how many papers he reads, how many books and articles he has written etc.
I can recommend his book Training 4 climbing though, as there is no rambling and excellent information with nice illustrations.

Great information on scientific basis. A little too much „fluff“ in some episodes

I really like the information presented as they are helpful, interesting and very current, always (apparently) based on latest research. However, sometimes I could do without the fluff at the beginning of the podcasts (eg 20mins intro w/o relevant information on the actual subject).
In any case, thanks for the content!
