Life After Broadcasting Bill Schissler

It's the triumphant return of Life After Broadcasting.  Bill speaks with Meteorologist Russ Murley, Operations Manager of Precision Weather Service.  Russ and Bill have known each other going on 25 years when Russ did the weather on Bill's morning show.  We get another visit from Andrea, Bill's stepdaughter, to speak about fun at the Def Leppard show.  Bill also promises it won't be a year before episode 9.

 

Travis makes it back to Maine for another show.  Bill has a bad day.  There's talk of goats and plumbing, and yes... another horse update.  We talk crisis management in the lightning round.  Travis is a free man (but still not a free thinker).

Travis makes it back to Bill's for another in-studio visit.  Before that, it's breakfast, served with a side of attitude.  We take a call from the (not so hot) hotline and did Bill's step-daughter really see what she says she saw while at the gym? 

Bill and Travis break down all the crunching tackles and fantastic free kicks of this year's World Cup (or not).  Bill still has chimps on his mind - and was he really there when they filmed Ghostbusters?  Travis writes Phil Rizzuto.  Bill shows Travis how to embrace the technology.

Without a doubt the most socially conscious episode to date.  Bill speaks with John Carlisle from the Maine Department of Highway Safety to discuss the dangers of slow driving.  Travis delivers a "golden" bit for the show. Bill has a horse update and talks chimps and email.

Defying all the odds Travis makes it to Bill's house.  Before recording another killer episode they have dinner at a local restaurant.  Was it fate that brought the three of them together? Regardless, one must wonder what was on Shawna's mind as she served that open-faced turkey sandwich and meatloaf.
