Orange and Brown Talk: Cleveland Browns Podcast Advance Sports Podcasts

The Browns have reconvened after the draft for the next phase of their offseason program and will officially welcome their new rookie class to the field next weekend for rookie minicamp.
With the roster taking shape and six new players on their way along with undrafted free agents fighting for jobs, which areas of the Browns roster are we most and least comfortable with as spring rolls on?
Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe went through and offered up one position each to answer the question on Thursday’s Orange and Brown Talk podcast. They talked about areas of strength and areas where they’re still a little nervous about the team as it starts to mold into its final form.

Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discuss the Browns draft class on Wednesday's Orange and Brown Talk by going through each pick. They start with Mike Hall Jr. at No. 54 and go pick-by-pick through Andrew Berry's latest draft class, all the way to Jowon Briggs.

The Browns exercised the fifth-year option on cornerback Greg Newsome II on Tuesday, locking him in through the 2025 season. What happens after that will be interesting given the number of defensive backs the team could be paying by then.

The Houston Texans made the final pick in the Deshaun Watson deal on Saturday in the NFL Draft, meaning the trade is officially done. Now it’s just about where both teams go from here and, more importantly for the Browns, if Watson can get healthy and do what the Browns hoped when they made the deal.

The Browns beefed up the trenches on Friday night in the NFL Draft, staying put in their original spots and picking defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr. at No. 54 and guard Zak Zinter at No. 85.
At the end of the night, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discussed the picks the Browns made and cleveland.com's draft expert Tim Bielik offered his quick analysis of both picks.
They discuss the decision to stick and pick Hall instead of taking the offers that were available to them to trade out of the 54th pick.
