Marc Whitten has left Microsoft as the Xbox Chief Product Officer. He has been with the company since 2000 and part of the original Xbox launch. He has moved onto Sonos the home audio company.
Gamestop won't be the only retailer offering game trade ins.Wal-Mart will soon start offering that at 3100’s of their location on March 26th.
GitHub’s co-founder is on leave after harassment claims. GitHub is a website for software development projects.
If you use Google Docs be aware of a brand new scam that asks users for login information. An email with the subject “Documents” tells users to go to a fake Google Docs page.

If you planned on buying a PlayStation 4 in Canada you will be paying a bit more, Sony has announced a $50 price increase. That brings the price of the PS4 to $450 Canadian dollars.
 
Google Plus had an outage today. This outage affected Google Hangouts, Gmail Chat and Google Spreadsheets. Google has acknowledged the issue publicly and is working to get the services back online.
 
The Wikipad an Android gaming tablet with an attachable controller is now only $200 in the US. Thats a $50 decrease in price since its launch in June of 2013.
 
Jonathan Morin the creative director of Watch Dogs said on Twitter that the main storyline of the game will take anywhere from 35-40 hours to complete. You can pick up Watch Dogs May 27 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Xbox Live core services were down yesterday after the launch of Titanfall. Some users were unable to sign, Microsoft confirmed the issue and has since been resolved.
 
Google may be getting into the Gaming market. Green Throttle Games an Android gaming developer has been acquired by Google. They developed set top boxes that run on Android.
 
Sony may release its virtual reality headset at the Game Developers Conference next week. Its even rumored that some developers may already have there hands on the headset.

Today is the launch of Titanfall the brand new FPS from Respawn Entertainment. Available on the PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One for $59.99.
 
Dark Souls 2 also launched today. The hit RPG takes place in a Nightmarish open world, and is available on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360.
 
Twitter was down today. If you tried accessing Twitter around 2pm Eastern you may have not been able to access the site on your desktop or mobile app. Twitter has confirmed the issue and is looking into it.
 
Cryengine the game engine that powers games live Crysis 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome is heading to linux. That means we can expect to see theses games on Valves SteamOS thats powered by linux.

Apple has released IOS7.1 today that adds support for CarPlay Apples way to integrate your iPhone with your vehicle.

The PlayStation Network was under scheduled maintenance today. The maintenance did not allow users access the PlayStation Store or Account Management services. The update was scheduled for 5 and ½ hours and started at 11:30 EST.

The CEO of Mt.Gox the once popular Bitcoin exchanges personal blog has been hacked. The hacker released database dumps that showed a balance of over 950K Bitcoins that converts to somewhere around 600M US Dollars.

EA announced today that users who play Battlefield 4 on consoles will soon be able to rent their own multiplayer servers. You can currently rent servers for the PC version of Battlefield 4 but never before have you been able to do so for consoles.
