The best of the Seahawks UDFA signings, plus a full roster update
Now that the draft is behind us it's time to look ahead to the 2024 NFL season. The Seahawks have begun to sign undrafted free agents, and today I'll highlight 7 players from that group that I'm most intrigued by.
Then, we'll plug them all into the full roster and see how THAT looks - where are the strengths, weaknesses, and and what might be in store at certain key position groups.

John Schneider's first draft without Pete Carroll by his side is now in the books, as he adds 8 new rookies to Mike Macdonald's first roster as head coach of the Seahawks.
How'd he do?

REACTION: Seahawks select Texas DT Byron Murphy II with 16th pick
What if I told you the Seattle Seahawks had a chance to select the best defensive tackle in the entire draft at pick 16? Would you have stayed there and picked, or still wanted to trade down to accumulate more selections?

Seahawks out of money? Current status of their 2024 and 2025 salary cap, and what they can do to fix it
The budget has gotten tight for GM John Schneider and the Seattle Seahawks. With less than $2 million in available salary cap space this year, and not much more than that looking ahead to 2025 either, some major decisions will need to be made in the coming days and months. In fact, they'll need to adjust some contracts or jettison a few players just to sign any players taken in this weekend's NFL draft!
Should fans be concerned?
Who better to break it all down than Curtis Allen, who does such a fantastic job analyzing this (among other things) for Rob Staton's Seahawks Draft Blog.
Curtis will update us on the Seahawks payroll situation, and provide some answers as to just how they can manage it all this year and next.

Perfect for Hawks Fans. I think Dan gives a balanced Hawks perspective and is really honest about when it is pure speculation and when he uses sources/reports. He also calls out typical Hawks Twitter Reactions and breaks down fake arguments. I enjoy it.
