Robin and Margaret Bain and three of their four children – Arawa, Laniet and Stephen – were killed by gunshot in Dunedin, New Zealand, on 20 June 1994. The only suspects were David Cullen Bain, the eldest son and Robin Bain, the father.

As time went on, Kaczynski decided to leave his life in the academic world for one of solitude away from other people and technology. In 1978, he began his long reign of terror that would plague people with fear and puzzle the FBI for years until he was arrested in April 1996. Over the span of 17 years, he killed 3 people and injured 23 others by sending 16 untraceable homemade bombs that he built himself to random targets in an attempt to start “a revolution against the industrial system.”

Kemper murdered ten people including his paternal grandparents and mother and on top of being a well known serial killer, he is also a serial rapist and necrophile. He is also well known for his size at 6 feet 9 inches, and for his high intellect, possessing an IQ of 145.
