The Change Makers Podcast aims to raise awareness about changes needed in our behavior, in our society, and in our economy in order to preserve our planet and live more sustainable.

Season 2 of this podcast has a clear focus: the SDGs. We have only one decade left to achieve the UN's SDGs and we need to speed up the process to make it happen.

This podcast puts in the spotlight international thinkers and initiatives that are helping us get one step closer to the goals and will hopefully inspire listeners to start their own initiatives, in their own communities.

    Shannon Raponi is a volunteer for the People’s Plan on the communications team. She is especially passionate about the protection of nature and the benefits of people connecting with the natural world. 

    The People's Plan aims to put people’s voices at the heart of a green and just recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic towards our net zero future, through engaging diverse communities on local net zero policymaking.

    The People’s Plan is one of the campaigns of The Climate Venture Collective, a grassroots group of volunteer entrepreneurs, thinkers, makers, and doers who come together to create scalable solutions to the climate and ecological crisis. As well as the People’s Plan Campaign, they build products, apps, and other services to help create a smooth transition to a zero-carbon economy.

    Karla Morales-Lee is a thought-leader, community chief, brand strategist, and designer of unique experiences. Over the past 15 years, she has founded four businesses, one of which she sold. Today, she leads two ground-breaking businesses, both of which exist to accelerate positive change.

    Founded in 2018, her consultancy New Breed advises organizations on how to be a force for good, helping them to identify and co-design ways to grow their business through positive societal and environmental impact. In 2011 she saw a need to support social entrepreneurs to thrive (rather than just survive) and created The Warrior Women Network, which has quickly evolved to an app-based support and collaboration platform for female entrepreneurs pioneering new solutions to the problems that matter.
