At the Penumbra, you might follow Juno Steel, a brooding, sharp-witted private eye on Mars, as he tangles with an elusive homme fatale, tracks dangerous artifacts of an ancient alien civilization, and faces his three greatest fears: heights, blood, and relationships.

Or you might enter the world of the Second Citadel, where the merciless Sir Caroline must corral a team of emotionally distraught all-male knights to defend their city against mind-manipulating monsters...even the ones they’ve fallen in love with.

These audio dramas and more await you in the Penumbra, dear traveler. We hope you enjoy your stay. (Start with "1.01: Juno Steel and the Case of the Murderous Mask" or "1.09: Second Citadel - The Head of the Janus Beast.")

    5.21: Second Citadel--The Fall (Part 2)

The Second Citadel has stood, tall and proud, in the Northern Wilds for centuries. It is the bastion of humanity in the region, a settlement carved out from an unforgiving land. No matter what happens, you must remember this: there are people who call it home, people who love it, people who have never known anything but it.
Welcome to the Penumbra, dear Traveler. We hope you enjoy your stay.

5.18: Juno Steel and the Terrible Waste (Part 1)

Out in the furthest reaches of the Milky Way float piles of things best left forgotten: trash, refuse, the runoff and leftovers of a society that wants too much and produces too much. What better place, then, to put an impossible dream: that dead bodies, what we leave behind when we eventually exit life, might start to walk and talk and love again?
The Dokana group has chosen one of these trashteroids as their place to dream this dream. But be careful: it doesn't take much for a dream to become a nightmare.

    5.16: Second Citadel--The Indomitable Duelist (Part 2)

For centuries, the Senate of the Northern Wilds has convened to discuss all the largest issues surrounding the Second Citadel... or the largest monster issues, at any rate. Today's debate: what is to be done with these two nosy humans who have stumbled into their most recent meeting, at a place where great power slumbers nearby.

MiChromes ,

Absolutely amazing

I absolutely love this podcast. I first listened to the Juno Steel Series and was amazed and I honestly didn’t think it could get any better. And then I listened to the Second Citadel and it completely swept me off my feet. Wonderful voice actors, wonderful storytelling!

Michimeeee ,

Beyond amazing!

I adore this podcast! I have fallen in love with all the characters from the Juno Steel series, their enduring characteristics as well as their voice actors’ charm and ability to bring them to life. The series has had some of the most amazing and heartwarming (as well as wrenching) moments of any Podcasts I’ve listened to so far, and has thus become one of my favorites by far! All my love to the cast and crew for giving us this amazing world!

tiny traveler ,

Incredible

I am following this podcast for a long while now and not only is the writing on both shows out of this world amazing, it also hits every mark in terms of diversity and representation. I can’t begin to explain how much especially Juno means to me. Thank you for inspiring me to draw, write and for making me laugh and sob at the same time. I am so excited (and scared) for all eps to come. 🖤
