nattaeus ,

i don’t even like scary stuff usually

i listened to all of this in like?? a week?? had to take occasional breaks because it does get pretty scary and i get weak when it comes to that kinda stuff but its genuinely so well written and acted and just generally well made, its just so interesting i had to keep going.

Terriblasque ,

Please stop screaming into the microphone

The story is really compelling and wonderfully written. But the sound effect of tape recording causes the volume to be very low. To compensate that I have to turn the volume of my headphones almost to the maximum. Which is fine 99% of the time. The only thing that repeatedly causes my ears to bleed is when some action scenes are accompanied by very, very loud screams.

Dummdumm 2.0 ,

Creepily entertaining

As a long time fan of shows and literature regarding the supernatural and mysterious, this is a brilliant podcast to listen to. When I discovered it I binged all (back then) 90 episodes within a few weeks. The story of the people working for the Magnus Institute and the stories they commit to the archive are beautifully written and ever so exciting! I can only recommend joining John and his colleagues in their journey from kinda sassy disbelief to getting caught in the evil.
Much love, much kudos !
