Monsters. Cryptids. Hauntings. Demons. Historical Mysteries. Wild Talents...And much more.
From the steaming, sometimes lovely, often terrifying town of Mugwamp, Louisiana, your host Vic Hermanson, his ghostly, cybernetic pal Boudreaux, Annabelle Lee, Beelzebubba, and Wilbur the Ethereal Pest Control Specialist guide you through lands of terror, mystery, human misery and human potential, discovery, wonder, and occasionally, the philosophy of human thought and learning. There's simply not another podcast like it.

The Damned Thing and Its Damned Invisible Relatives
In episode 119 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson returns to the theme of invisibility, using the Ambrose Bierce story "The Damned Thing" as a jumping off point. Of course, the Lawrence Livermore invisible bigfoot has to be thrown in for good measure! He ends with a little Devil's Dictionary, also by Ambrose Bierce.

Attack of the Neph-Ewok. The Monster Chronicles, Part Five
Episode 118 is the fifth and final episode of the Trailer Trash Terrors Monster Chronicles. It's a panel discussion with Vic, JJ Johnson, Father Birdsong, Chris James, and Dave Griffith, paranormal investigator extraordinaire. We do the best we can to define the essential characteristics of monsters, and, as usual, fail miserably! Or maybe you'll disagree! We also talk about the aspect of evil being a part of "monsterhood," and finally, we have some fun talking about the dreaded, and clearly evil Nephilim- Ewok hybrid.

Is Existence Binary? Six Monsters Seeking a Place on the Spectrum of Actuality
Episode 117 is the fourth segment of the Trailer Trash Terrors Monster Chronicles. Of course it's weird...but I don't think it disappoints. We have Newt from Alien, Sadaam the chimp, genetically engineered chimps, the SLAM nuclear plane, Spring-heeled Jack, The Partridge Creek Monster, the Kandahar Giant, and a new hypothesis about "Homo Sanguinas," a naturally evolved type of vampire. Oh...that's more than six! My bad.
Plus, Boudreaux gets some hate mail!

The Ecology of the Yokai: The Monster Chronicles, Part Three
In episode 116 of The Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson joins forces with the amazing and eclectic mind of JJ Johnson, host of Southern Demonology, and a true expert on Japanese monsters...the Yokai. It's always fascinating to hear the thoughts of a mind like JJ's!

Measuring the Minds of Monsters: The Monster Chronicles Part Two
In episode 115 of the Trailer Trash Terrors podcast, Vic Hermanson tries to create categories of monsters, and delves into the mental processes common to those monsters with 46 chromosomes. He goes back in time to revisit those monster movies that first warped his mind. "The Monster Chronicles" series is growing, and will now probably be four episodes.

We Need Monsters! Monster Chronicles Part One
In episode 114 of TTT, Vic Hermanson is 100 percent, laser focused on monsters, which is actually his favorite topic. He talks about Carl, a patient that many nurses thought was a human-ape hybrid. He talks about Teratomas, which genuinely can look monstrous. He talks about the man-eating tree of Madagascar, plus much, much more. Then, as he often does, he gets all philosophical and tries to figure out what a monster is. Does he succeed? Listen and find out!
