Similar to our previous U2 & Bruce Springsteen side-series’, we’re aiming to create the ultimate, single vinyl, under 50-minute singles compilation for Prince after critiquing his albums & singles from a specific period of time. In this case, from 1978 (For You) to 1989 (Batman) 💿
So this will encompass classic albums like Purple Rain & Sign O’ The Times; and classic singles like kiss, little red corvette & raspberry beret 💜
To kick things off we’re starting with the Minneapolis Marvel’s 1978 debut album For You and the singles soft and wet 😳 and just as long as we’re together 🥰
Fact: Despite only being 19 years old, all the tracks on the album were produced, arranged, composed and performed by Prince 😮 #genius
