This week on our "What's Inside the Box?" podcast, we have the honor of hosting Emily Infeld and Max Randolph of Nike Running.
Emily and Max are the true definition of a team. Not only are they partners in life, but also on the track and trails. With their recent move to Los Angeles, Max is Emily’s training partner, helping her in workouts, accompanying her on runs and truly living up to his instagram tagline - professional wife supporter.
From a World Bronze Medal in the 10,000 meters in 2015, to making the Olympics in 2016, and two more world championship teams on the track in 2017 and 2022 - Emily truly is one of the most accomplished distance runners in the United States over the last 15 years. She is a fan favorite in our sport, and thru this conversation you’ll understand why.
With Max and Emily we chat about a number of different topics during this conversation - from how they first met, to how each of them found the sport of running, to competing at the highest level, and so much more. We even had our local high school girls cross country team chime in with a few questions for the couple.
This conversation was truly special. As fans of the sport, Emily has been someone that we at Runner’s High have had the good fortune to follow and cheer for along her journey as a professional runner. We also have been fortunate to get to know Max over the years, working with him in many different capacities with our partners at Nike.
