Great value here

I really love this podcast, for many different reasons. Here are three of the most important ones.

Firstly, as a practitioner of bhakti-yoga myself, I’m always looking for sources where I can get regular inspiration and ‚nourishment’ so to say. Wisdom of the Sages, while providing context for and reflection on all different varieties yoga, directly and clearly talks about bhakti-yoga. So if you’re interested in an authentic presentation of yoga in general or in bhakti-yoga specifically, you are in the right place here.

Secondly, and this is perhaps most important for me personally: I feel that Raghunath and Kaustubha deeply accept and respect people’s need, ability and desire to form their own opinions and make their own decisions regarding their spiritual lives. I never feel „preached“ to, which I often do in other places unfortunately. This aspect makes possible for me to listen to something uplifting and inspiring even when I’m tired or feeling down, because I don’t have to keep my guard up. Thank you for this.

And thirdly, listening to the podcast is often extremely funny and entertaining as well. I also love the guests they choose for the show and their similar focus on positive, uplifting topics and ways of seeing the world.

I recommend this podcast to both people who want to explore their interest in spirituality and to people who’ve been practicing yoga for a long time.
