Learning is important for development. Much more important is knowing how best you learn. You will continue to struggle with understanding information if you are not receiving it the way your nature wants. 



The three major types of learning styles are (we spoke about three more styles in the podcast):



Visual learning style: Visual learners take in information best when it is presented in a visual format, such as charts, diagrams, illustrations, and demonstrations. They learn best by seeing. 



Auditory learning style: Auditory learners take in information best by hearing it. They learn best through lectures, discussions, and conversations. 



Kinesthetic learning style: Kinesthetic learners take in information best through physical activities, such as experiments, role-playing, and hands-on activities. They learn best through doing.
