    Being 20 something

    Being 20 something

Feeling like after a year and a half of making a podcast it was time

    to step into it.

Sometimes our hobbies shape itself in many ways in our life, but do not feel embarrassed to pick up something you once put down.

Being consistent even if you "fall off".

This episode highlights where I'm at in my life, how I'm starting to handle my next chapter and informing my decisions to think about where my currently values are. It was easier for me in college to know myself, but stepping out of college being 20 something I have found it harder to find my values and how they guide me through my days.

Finding out what brings me peace is a lot of what my next chapter is all about .

    New Year, New Who?

    New Year, New Who?

I'm here to talk about how to help that motivational gap, how to keep moving through your goals and wants for the year. I'm a huge believer that we do not give enough grace to OURSELVES. Understanding the balance between motivating yourself, but also giving grace to yourself. It's okay to fall back and give yourself wiggle room.

This can be a really hard time in life to continue with the goals you have set for yourself for New Years. Kickstarting the New Year with goals can be so exciting because it's a reset button, it's an opportunity to start fresh and set your mind to something new. I love the feeling, I am a big fan of New Years Resolution goals and setting myself up. I am also going to be real for a second and say by the 3rd week in January my motivation starts slipping. I start thinking "oh i'll just wait for next month to start my workout journey" and then I feel bad for not keeping with it and so on - it's a trickle effect.

    Bad Day Remedies

    Bad Day Remedies

What is harder than a bad day...a bad day with no hope in sight. We all have bad days and that's OKAY, we really need to normalize someone having a bad day and not trying to always fix it. It's normal. This is more about what you do for your bad day to feel better, I went ahead and asked my social media and had really awesome suggestions. Sometimes a good cry is needed, or grabbing your favorite food for comfort.

This is a new and exciting series that will be short segments about anything and everything within life, connecting with others and just engaging in conversations from many different perspectives. Thankful for friends who are ready to chat and strangers that can relate and/or add new things to the conversation.

Don't let the fear of striking out stop you

Don't let the fear of striking out stop you

How many times have you been a victim to fear stopping you from doing something? Fear is powerful my friends and it will sit with us till we step up and realize that fear doesn't have to be scary. Acknowledge that some things in life ARE scary and you might dive deep into something new and still feel fear, but you're still stepping forward. Listen for that extra boost of kicking fears ass, listen to move through fears and start really chasing what we want. If I had let fear hold me back EVERY time, I wouldn't be where I am today. Almost all the situations that I was fearful to step forward in, but still did it anyway...those situations changed my life. Step on the other side of fear with me.

Grow Through What You Go Through

Grow Through What You Go Through

This quote, this statement really hits a home for me. Growing through what i've been through has been an important part of my journey in becoming who I am today. I have really put in work to my personal development and self awareness. One of the way's I would say to grow through past experiences is learning how to reflect. Reflection brings all that you felt full circle and helps you see how things could be different for next time or that you liked the way something happened.

Grow for you, don't grow for anyone else, be all that you are for you, but don't let you be the reason why you're not growing. We're all meant to be someone incredible, use what you've been through to inspire you to keep moving forward and keep pushing for what you want in life.

    Be True

    Be True

Being true to who you are is even more important during this stay at home order. Opening up to myself about feelings that weren't positive was pretty hard to acknowledge and accept. I try to pride myself on being that spark of light for others, but I also want to stay true to "it's okay to not be okay". After I was able to be real with myself and be true to how I felt, I was then able to feel lifted in a way. It took for me being real and honest with myself to be able to move forward first. Be real with yourself now more than even, don't let heavy feelings weigh you down. Open up and let it out.
