In this episode of Figure It Out With Fatema, Jeff Thomson and I will discuss data science between the past, the present and the future. We will discuss data science as a profession, data science projects, analytics, sustainability, etc.

Jeff started as a data scientist decades before the job title was popularised in the industry and I have worked with him as an IMA | Institute of Management Accountants NED for years. We have always chatted about the data profession and I thought it was time to bring those chats to you on my platforms as well as allow you to be part of them by asking us your questions live.

How can you drive the human behaviour within your organisation to speak about data and ask for Analytics projects?   

Data strategy is change management in disguise. In data strategy we speak about analytics, future technologies and much more. Some of the things we cover in data strategy only makes sense to us as practitioners in the field. 

Having the cross functional buy in and creating business engagement is all about human behaviour.
