Gherrel opted to go the untraditional route, even though he started college, he left with one class away from an Associates Degree. Gherrel started off as a server at Joe's Crab Shack. A conversation with a customer put him on a path to becoming successful in Tech Sales. He hopes to one day become a Solutions Architect and has no intentions of going back to school and finishing what he started. Gherrel's journey is like many others, while college may work for some, it doesn't work for everyone. On this episode we uncover the untraditional route into tech, and what it takes to compete with coworkers who have a college degree.
