🟢 Makerdao plans to replace its DAI stablecoin with two new ones: newstable and puredai. Newstable aims to be user-friendly and integrate smoothly with Makerdao’s ecosystem, while puredai focuses on extreme decentralization with minimal governance. The Endgame plan also introduces a new governance token for puredai and includes a lending platform to boost adoption. This initiative aims to enhance stability and scalability in Makerdao’s offerings.

🟤 Coins.ph, a leading cryptocurrency platform, has secured regulatory approval from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to introduce a peso stablecoin named PHPC. This stablecoin is set to be accessible to retail customers and will mark a milestone in the digital asset landscape of the Philippines. PHPC will be pegged one-to-one to the peso, backed by cash and cash equivalents stored in Philippine bank accounts, ensuring its stability and full redemption for pesos.
