SPECIAL EDITION: "Let them be kids" - Should we change the age of Social Media access?
There's a lot of debate, concern, questions and demands for the age at which kids can access social media to be lifted from 13 up to 16 right now.
I understand where this is coming from, and the heartache that drives it. But will it work.
I've produced this special edition podcast to help me, Trevor Long, understand the issue, and if a change will work.
Rather than just banging on about it myself, I'm joined by experts in Digital Parenting and Cyber issues for Teens, to help explain what is going on with kids, how this might help, but also what gaps it might expose.
I did this to better educate myself, but I think it will help educate us all.
Feedback is welcome, from parents, kids, no matter if you agree, disagree, have ever seen issues or have never seen issues - get in touch - text me on 0477 657 657 -

This week Trev gets his troubleshooting hat on for Steve and recommends earbuds for Greg that won't fall out whilst jogging (something he is now an expert in after London)
He also catches up with the boss of Motorola Australia to talk about their smartphone devices and their market position both here and around the world.
And caller Justin has been road testing Meta RayBans since receiving a pair in a previous episode. He gives us his feedback -
Digital ID Special - why we need it
This week, Trev is in London so no talkback calls, but we do have time for a special episode, talking about the Digital ID.
Greta Menzies is Co-Founder of MyDataBoss, a company with a goal to protect our data, be it at a legal firm, telco, no matter where.
So we unpack what it is, but also why the Digital ID is so critically important.

More AI Music and all your talkback calls
This week Trev can't help himself and dives back into the AI jingle generator plus loads of calls from listeners needing help and advice.
We like spending listener's money and this week we help Stewart with a printer recommendation and Nathan with a smart watch combatable with his phone, Sean has a decision to make whether to upgrade his faulty iPhone or whether to pursue a fix under Australian consumer law.
We also have recommendations for choosing the right ISP and the podcast wouldn't be complete without at least one travel tip. What charging solutions can help Ashley on his fantastic overseas trip?
