Through faithful teaching of the Scriptures, we seek to facilitate encounters with the truth of God’s Word – and ultimately, with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Truth that came down from heaven. Our prayer is that those who do not yet know Jesus will come to a saving knowledge of the truth, that believers will be grounded in the truth, and that local churches will be encouraged in their witness to the truth.

When Wealth Becomes a Problem (Part 2 of 2)
Jesus wants us to know how hard it is for the rich to be saved—not because riches are evil, but because they matter far too much to those who have them. When faced with the choice between keeping his riches and following Jesus, the rich ruler in Jesus’ story chose his riches—and so his story is a powerful warning to us. But Jesus also wants us to know that any disciple who makes sacrifices for him does not lose out in the end.
