Ep 15 - Founder of Influence 51 + Psychologist/Behavioral Scientist + Author, JonRobert "Tat" Tartaglione Beyond the Profile
-
- Business
JonRobert "Tat" Tartaglione, founder of Influence 51, joins Sheiny to discuss his passion for using his expertise of psychology and behavioral science to figure out what moves people. We go into depth behind starting his own business surrounding the art of influence and helping clients in the corporate, political, legal, nonprofit, and restaurant domains leverage insights from psychology to build more successful influence strategies. We discuss the strategies and principles he's designed to shape attitudes, shift decisions, and change behavior, and co-authoring an award winning book, Our Search for Belonging: How Our Need to Connect Is Tearing Us Apart, which focuses on the neuropsychology of human connection. We go deeper into examples and insights from his 5 Principles of Influence such as how liberals and conservatives differ more than just inside the voting booth, knowing from a young age that working under someone would not work out, and his willingness to fail and learn from his mistakes that lead him to consult and advise for some of the largest companies in the world.
Beyond the Profile is a podcast where we discuss hard-hitting career stories with professionals of all ages. We’re looking to get into the nitty gritty when it comes to breaking down our guests' career paths, why did they choose the industry/company they work for, where did their passions come from, and what are they looking to do to make a difference in the future for the work they’re involved in. This is a chance for all of us to learn and potentially implement how these guests go about their business, decision-making, and ultimately how they found a love for their craft.
