- Saturday, June 15th from 3:30 to 7:30 pm the AAMOU will host their annual Juneteenth Freedom & Heritage Celebration at Martin Luther King Jr. park on Aurora’s east side. There will be many awesome activities along with community organizations and resources. See the flyer for more details. See you there!

- Join us Saturday, June 8th from 11 am to 2 pm for our 3rd annual Community Day at 22 N. Highland for an amazing event! Working with great sponsors and our local community, this event is getting greater and greater and we want everyone to attend! We will have music, food and helpful resources for families and Aurora households. Aurora Financial Empowerment Center staff will also be present for the fun, and to help you with any questions you may have about your financial goals. - Connection support groups are every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, hosted by NAMI KDK. These events will be at the COFI Parent Power Center located at 850 Ridgeway avenue in Aurora. Each session is from 6 pm to 8:00 pm and are for anyone who has symptoms or a diagnosed mental condition. COFI & Padres Lideres are dear friends of ours and great organizations, their collaboration with NAMI KDK is a boon to our community and the people of Aurora.
