Good morning and happy Wednesday! We have news, we have weather and we have each other! Today we have Pastor Jose Torres, lead pastor at Fresh Start City Church here for Encouraging Echoes! This is a faith-based feature of Good Morning Aurora, every 3rd Wednesday. There is much to talk about this morning so let's get ready to learn! Here's the news:
- Saturday, June 15th from 3:30 to 7:30 pm the AAMOU will host their annual Juneteenth Freedom & Heritage Celebration at Martin Luther King Jr. park on Aurora’s east side. There will be many awesome activities along with community organizations and resources. See the flyer for more details. See you there!
- Join us Saturday, June 8th from 11 am to 2 pm for our 3rd annual Community Day at 22 N. Highland for an amazing event! Working with great sponsors and our local community, this event is getting greater and greater and we want everyone to attend! We will have music, food and helpful resources for families and Aurora households. Aurora Financial Empowerment Center staff will also be present for the fun, and to help you with any questions you may have about your financial goals. For volunteer opportunities and more details call (630) 906-9400! Save the date!
