My pretend best friends
I’ve been listening since the first episode and I just love these ladies, quirks and all. They are the best company during dishwashing. I live on the other side of the globe from them and through their podcast I get a taste of Brooklyn and a different perspective on topics - e.g I never thought to be grateful for trees until Kirsten hugged the only one she could find on her street 😄 I have laughed and cried with them. I have even tried on some of their findings, like talking nicely to myself and being more grateful and aware of my privileges - so I actually learned something from the crazy world of self-help. Thank you ❤️
Funny, insightful take on self help books
I’ve binged a few seasons and paid special attention to the books I’ve read or thought about reading. Always a warm, funny and enjoyable listen. It’s also been great learning how much preparation goes into living by the books - hats off to Kristen and Jolenta for this! And to the long-suffering husbands.
Great podcast
Entertaining, well produced, a great mix of deep and funny. Kinda bummed I binged my way through all 8 seasons already😅
