Habakkuk was a prophet struggling with balancing the God of justice he knows and the injustice he witnessed in the nation. He struggled with holding on to God’s plan, promises, and power because his eyes told him that God wasn’t present. How can a good God allow such evil? The words of this prophet are so real for many of us today.
But God doesn’t just leave him to struggle with this. God answers and shows Habakkuk that He has a plan far beyond what Habakkuk is able to understand.

A white flag is a symbol of surrender. At the end of Ephesians 6 we see Paul is calling us for us to wave the white flag, not as a symbol of defeat, but a white flag surrendering the battle to the Lord as a means of victory!

Now that we know our enemy, we want to know how we can fight in the day to day. We are called to stand firm against the enemy. To fight FROM victory. Putting on the full armor of God.
