#8 - Jesper Aagaard on business, dyslexia and following you calling

Jesper Aagaard is one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. Jesper has a background as a corporate executive and investor, but he has also had a different path than many influenced by dyslexia and his father’s suicide happening at a young age. We talk about finding your own path, not being dominated by norms, and much more.

#6: Nina Billenstein Schriver - Empowering Women in Nepal through WAWCAS

Brought to you by MøllerBeck and our newsletter "Meaningful Mondays" – go to mollerbeck.com/meaningful // In this episode I interview Nina Billenstein Schriver. She is the Founder & International Program Director of WAWCAS International and the owner of the consultancy Movementum. Nina has a passion for helping people develop trust in their own potential. This has been a driving force in building WAWCAS - a 16 months entrepreneurship program that trains underprivileged women in Nepal to set up a business and become independent. Since WAWCAS was founded in 2008, they have helped more than 5000 women start a business and with some remarkable results. 95% of the women are still running their businesses after 5 years, 98% repay their loans and the programme creates a significant reduction in husband alcohol consumption and domestic violence, not to mention that 8300 children have been ensured education, where it would probably not have been the case otherwise. Every year WAWCAS takes in another 750 new women to start on the 16-month journey of transformation, teaching them how to be, think and act differently. Nina and WAWCAS’ approach is systemic and holistic. They ensure that not only the means and systems required are available, but equally that the women find their own voice. In Denmark Nina brings the same thinking into her work, when she helps people thrive in her capacity as a consultant and physiotherapist. Nina is a professionally trained physiotherapist, but she also holds a Ph.D. in change processes and learning from Copenhagen University. This was a massively inspiring and heartfelt conversation. I hope that it teases your thinking and what you believe to be possible. // If you like the podcast, would you please consider leaving a short review on your chosen platform, e.g. Apple podcast? #3: Kristian Gomes Bindslev - Compassionate Systems in Public Schools

Brought to you by MøllerBeck and our newsletter "Meaningful Mondays" – go to mollerbeck.com/meaningful // The guest of this episode is Kristian Gomes Bindslev. He is a trained teacher and has worked as a leader within the Danish education system since 2011, most lately as vice principal at Maglegårdsskolen, located north of Copenhagen. One of the things that make Christians work stand out is how he and fellow leaders have transformed how the school is led and how students interact in the recent years. In collaboration with Peter Senge from MIT, the school has been implementing a way of working called compassionate systems. As a part of this process Christian has been trained by Peter Senge along with 30 other institution leaders from around the world to become a Master Practitioner in the Compassionate Systems Framework (www.systemsawareness.org). The purpose is to bring these ideas to the youth of different nations and create a new generation of leaders that can spark the societal change. Christian also holds a master’s in business coaching from the Copenhagen Coaching Center. // This episode was recorded a few months back around Christmas 2019. // If you like the podcast, would you please consider leaving a short review on your chosen platform, e.g. Apple podcast?
